Active Credit Card Transfer Bonuses
Confirm every offer with the issuer or loyalty program before you transfer—bonuses can end early or change without notice.
Transfer bonuses are limited-time boosts when you move credit card points or miles into an airline or hotel partner—often 20–40%, sometimes higher. A 30% bonus means 10,000 transferable points become 13,000 in the partner program (before any program-specific rounding rules). Timing matters: the same transfer with no bonus can leave real value on the table, and a “hot” percentage still isn’t a good deal if you don’t need that partner’s awards.
This page lists currently active transfer bonuses across major U.S. transferable currencies—Chase Ultimate Rewards, Amex Membership Rewards, Citi ThankYou, Bilt Rewards, Capital One Miles, Wells Fargo Rewards, U.S. Bank Rewards, and others we track—with start and end dates, bonus percentage, and a highlight when a deal is unusually large versus typical offers for that lane. Use it as a scan board, then run your spend and redemption plan through the free MaxPoints calculator before you move points.

How we track these bonuses
- Major ecosystems only (for now). We focus on the big transferable programs most MaxPoints users hold—Chase, Amex, Citi, Bilt, Capital One, Wells Fargo, and U.S. Bank—plus clear partners when a bonus is live.
- Dates and % from public program notices. Start/end dates and bonus percentages come from issuer or partner announcements and official transfer pages. Those pages are often behind login, so confirm the ratio in your account. If a bonus ends early, we update on the next refresh (or sooner when we catch it).
- “Unusually large” is relative. We flag bonuses that stand out versus recent history for that transfer lane (for example, a rare 50–70% hotel or airline boost). A Hot badge is a signal to look closer—not advice to transfer blindly. In this version Hot means 40% or more.
- Weekly refresh. The table is reviewed on a weekly cadence. The Last updated stamp above the list is the source of truth for freshness.
- You still confirm before transferring. Rules, eligible card products, minimum transfer amounts, and rounding (for example, 1,000-point blocks) are owned by the issuer and partner. Always verify in your account before you click transfer.
Tips
Bonus % ≠ free value. A 40% hotel bonus can still be a weak transfer if award rates are soft; a smaller airline bonus can win if it unlocks a saver award you need.
Watch minimums and rounding. Many programs transfer in fixed blocks; leftover points may sit until you move another chunk.
Don’t chase a Hot badge into the wrong currency. Transfer only when you have a redemption (or a clear near-term plan)—points rarely transfer back.
Pair with your wallet math. Use MaxPoints to see whether earning more transferable points (vs cash back) still makes sense after fees—then time transfers when a bonus is live.
FAQ
It’s a limited-time promotion that gives you extra airline miles or hotel points when you transfer from a flexible credit card currency (like Chase Ultimate Rewards or Amex Membership Rewards) into a partner program—for example, 25% more miles than the usual 1:1 ratio.
We refresh the active list on a weekly schedule and stamp the page with a Last updated date. Individual bonuses can still end early—confirm in your issuer account before transferring.
We highlight bonuses that are ≥40% or top-quartile versus recent history for that same transfer lane. The Hot badge is a scanning aid, not a recommendation to transfer.

Only if you need that partner’s awards (or have a concrete plan). A bonus improves the rate; it doesn’t fix a bad redemption. Confirm dates, ratios, and rules with the issuer, then transfer deliberately.
