Last updated: October 19, 2026
Seattle or Los Angeles to Singapore, one-way, is 30,800 KrisFlyer miles in economy. San Francisco is the same price. Frankfurt to New York in premium economy is 39,900 miles. Those are Singapore Airlines’ November 2026 Spontaneous Escapes prices: 30% off Saver on selected Singapore-operated flights, for travel November 1–30, 2026, and only when the Promo seat is actually on the screen.
On the US West Coast nonstops, Saver before the discount is 44,000 miles. Thirty percent off that Saver rate is 30,800 (44,000 × 0.7). Prince of Travel (October 16, 2026) prints the 44,000 Saver comparison on Seattle. The same 30,800 price is on Los Angeles and San Francisco in both directions.
Book on singaporeair.com or in the SingaporeAir app, in the Promo column. Singapore’s terms say tickets must be issued from October 15, 2026 at 00:00 through October 31, 2026 at 23:59 “Local Time.” Read that end as 11:59 p.m. Singapore time on Saturday, October 31, which is 10:59 a.m. CT the same day. Central Daylight Time is still in effect; US clocks fall back on Sunday, November 1. Book by Friday, October 30, so a transfer still has time to post.
Before you move points: Run your spending through the credit card rewards calculator. An award sale does not fix a wallet that should be earning a different currency. Find the Promo seat on singaporeair.com first. Transfers into KrisFlyer are one-way, and this ticket cannot be changed or refunded.
West Coast economy is 30,800 miles
Prices below are one-way, per person, after the 30% discount. They come from Singapore’s Spontaneous Escapes table, checked October 19, 2026. Mainly Miles (October 15) and Prince of Travel (October 16) print the same West Coast prices. A date on the blackout list is excluded even when the flight number matches. A date that is not blacked out can still have no Promo seat.
| Route | Flights | Promo miles | Saver | Blackout dates |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Los Angeles to Singapore | SQ35, SQ37 | 30,800 | 44,000 | Nov 1–3, 5–7, 9–14, 18–21 |
| Singapore to Los Angeles | SQ36, SQ38 | 30,800 | 44,000 | Nov 1–2, 12–19, 23, 26–30 |
| San Francisco to Singapore | SQ31 | 30,800 | 44,000 | Nov 1–2, 6–22 |
| Singapore to San Francisco | SQ32 | 30,800 | 44,000 | Nov 1–2, 7–8, 14–19, 26–30 |
| Seattle to Singapore | SQ27 | 30,800 | 44,000 | Nov 11, 14, 20–21 |
| Singapore to Seattle | SQ28 | 30,800 | 44,000 | Nov 27–29 |
Seattle is the cleanest US route. SQ27 to Singapore is blocked on three dates (November 11, November 14, and November 20–21). SQ28 home is blocked only on November 27–29. Los Angeles to Singapore is blocked on about half the month. San Francisco to Singapore is blocked on November 1–2 and from November 6 through November 22, so the open days are the 3rd through the 5th and the 23rd through the 30th.
Search the direction you will fly. A round trip is allowed only when every segment is on the list, inside November 1–30, and showing Promo. If either direction is outside that window, book two one-ways. Singapore’s terms say one ineligible segment removes the discount from the whole itinerary.
Frankfurt–New York, and premium economy to San Francisco
Singapore’s fifth-freedom flight between Frankfurt and New York JFK is on the list. Economy is westbound only. Premium economy is both directions, and it is the easier of the two cabins to use.
| Route | Cabin | Flights | Promo miles | Saver | Blackout dates |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Frankfurt to New York (JFK) | Economy | SQ26 | 19,250 | 27,500 | Nov 1–3, 25–27, 29–30 |
| Frankfurt to New York (JFK) | Premium economy | SQ26 | 39,900 | Nov 28–29 | |
| New York (JFK) to Frankfurt | Premium economy | SQ25 | 39,900 | None on the list | |
| Singapore to San Francisco | Premium economy | SQ34 | 55,300 | 79,000 | Nov 1, 14–16, 26–30 |
Prince of Travel prints the undiscounted Saver figures on two of these: 27,500 for Frankfurt to New York in economy, and 79,000 for Singapore to San Francisco in premium economy. 19,250 is 27,500 × 0.7. 55,300 is 79,000 × 0.7.
New York to Frankfurt in economy is absent from the table. The way east in economy is a separate booking at the regular price, or you take premium economy at 39,900, which has no blackout on SQ25.
SQ34 is the premium-economy flight to San Francisco. Economy to San Francisco is SQ32, at 30,800, with a different blackout list. Do not treat one as the other.
Open dates on SQ34 are November 2–13, 17–25. That is the seat for someone ending a Singapore trip in the first half of the month or in the third week.
Europe and Australia, when the trip starts in Singapore
Economy from Singapore to a long list of European cities is the same 30,800 miles as the West Coast nonstops. Istanbul is cheaper. Premium economy to a shorter list of those cities is 52,150. Blackout dates are long on several of these routes and they differ by direction. The flight-by-flight list is on Singapore’s page. The prices below are the Promo rate when the seat exists.
| Cities | Cabin | Promo miles | Which direction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Istanbul | Economy | 22,400 | Both |
| London (Heathrow and Gatwick), Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Milan, Rome, Brussels, Copenhagen | Economy | 30,800 | Both |
| Amsterdam | Economy | 30,800 | Amsterdam to Singapore only |
| Istanbul | Premium economy | 36,050 | Both |
| Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Milan, Paris | Premium economy | 52,150 | Both |
| Munich | Premium economy | 52,150 | Singapore to Munich only |
Amsterdam is not on the Singapore-to-Amsterdam row. Munich premium economy is SQ368, Singapore to Munich, blocked on November 27 and November 30.
Australia in economy, from Singapore, is 20,300 miles to Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, and Sydney. Saver before the discount is 29,000 (20,300 is 29,000 × 0.7). Adelaide and Cairns also discount the return at 20,300. Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney on this list are the flights that leave Singapore.
Several of those departures are blocked for November 1–8. Adelaide is blocked on most dates in both directions. Read the official row before you treat 20,300 as the fare for a specific Saturday.
Premium economy from Singapore to Brisbane is 37,450 miles on SQ265. The open days are thin: the official blackouts are November 1–15, 19–22, and 27–30, which leaves November 16–18 and 23–26.
Business class stays in the region
There is no discounted business class to the United States or to Europe on this month’s list. Business is Jakarta, a handful of other Asian cities, Darwin, Colombo, Dhaka, and Cairns. Prices are one-way, per person, after 30% off Saver.
| Route | Promo miles | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Jakarta, both ways | 15,400 | No blackout dates |
| Surabaya, both ways | 15,400 | No blackout dates |
| Kuala Lumpur, both ways | 15,400 | Singapore to KL blocked Nov 5–7; KL to Singapore blocked Nov 7–10 |
| Bali (Denpasar) to Singapore | 15,400 | This direction only. Blackouts Nov 1–3, 8–10, 15–16, 19, 22–23 |
| Bangkok, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh | 17,500 | Both ways. Ho Chi Minh City is blocked on one date each way: Nov 6 from Singapore, Nov 9 back |
| Hanoi to Singapore, Manila to Singapore | 17,500 | Those directions. Both have long blackout lists on the official page |
| Hangzhou, both ways | 24,850 | Singapore to Hangzhou blocked Nov 5–6, 12, and 29; the return blocked Nov 2 and 9 |
| Singapore to Darwin | 29,750 | From November 10. Nov 1–9 is blacked out. Saver is 42,500 |
| Colombo and Dhaka, both ways | 31,500 | No blackout dates on the business columns |
| Cairns, both ways | 50,400 | Saver is 72,000. Singapore to Cairns blocked Nov 1–8; Cairns to Singapore blocked Nov 24–30 |
Jakarta and Surabaya at 15,400, with empty blackout cells, are the business awards that do not require a calendar puzzle. Ho Chi Minh City is the clean 17,500. Prince of Travel flags the same two facts. Darwin’s 29,750 is the Saver rate of 42,500 with 30% off, and it starts on November 10 because November 1–9 is the published blackout.
The official table also prices shorter Southeast Asia economy awards, including 5,600 and 9,100 miles, and Ahmedabad to Singapore in business at 31,500. Those rows, with their flight numbers, are on Singapore’s page. This article prices the seats a US reader is most likely to search.
Scoot is 15% off, on a different site
Scoot, Singapore’s low-cost airline, has a parallel Spontaneous Escapes list at 15% off Economy Saver awards. The booking window and the November 1–30 travel window match the Singapore Airlines offer. Book Scoot on flyscoot.com or in the Scoot app, signed into KrisFlyer, under Redeem flights. The route list is linked from Singapore’s Spontaneous Escapes page. A Scoot ticket is a different product from the Singapore Airlines prices above.
How to book, and what voids the discount
Singapore’s terms, on the Spontaneous Escapes page, are specific. A booking that misses one of them is charged the regular award price, or it cannot be made at all.
| Rule | What it means for this sale |
|---|---|
| Where | singaporeair.com or the SingaporeAir app. The fare is the Promo column |
| Issued | October 15, 2026, 00:00, through October 31, 2026, 23:59, “Local Time” |
| Practical US clock | 11:59 p.m. Singapore time on Saturday, October 31 is 10:59 a.m. CT. Book by Friday, October 30 |
| Travel | November 1–30, 2026, every segment |
| One bad segment | Any flight outside those dates, or any flight that is not on the list, removes the discount from the whole itinerary. Book one-ways separately |
| Who flies it | Singapore Airlines metal. Codeshares are excluded |
| Who can issue it | The website and the app. KrisFlyer phone service, ticket offices, and travel agents cannot |
| Other programs | An Aeroplan or United booking of the same flight is a different award. Partner programs do not get this discount |
| How you pay | The ticket is miles only. A miles-plus-cash fare is excluded. Taxes and fees are charged in cash and are not discounted |
| After ticketing | Changes are not allowed. Cancellation and refunds are not allowed, including on a ticket you have not flown |
| Routing | No stopovers. No waitlist |
| Other offers | This promo cannot be combined with another discount |
| Seats | First come, first served. A published blackout is closed. A date with no Promo seat is also closed, for that moment |
Ticket the Promo award in the same booking session. Singapore’s terms say the fare and the seat are not held if you leave and come back.
Mainly Miles notes that Promo space can disappear and reappear the way Saver space does. If the column shows Saver or Advantage instead of Promo, that flight is not this sale on that search. Check another date, or check again later. Do not transfer miles against a price you have not seen.
- Open the credit card rewards calculator if you are still deciding which points to earn. Then use the miles you already have, or a transfer from a program that actually reaches KrisFlyer.
- Sign in at singaporeair.com or in the SingaporeAir app. Choose Redeem flights.
- Search a one-way on a November date, on a flight number from the tables above.
- Read the Promo column. 30,800 on SQ27 is this sale. A higher number in Saver or Advantage is the regular award.
- Read the cash line. Taxes and fees sit outside the mileage discount.
- Ticket it before you leave the session.
- Transfer only if the Promo seat is on the screen and the trip is one you will take. The next section is why that order matters.
Where the 30,800 miles come from
KrisFlyer is a 1:1 transfer partner of Amex Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Capital One miles. Citi ThankYou is 1:1 on the annual-fee cards this site’s Citi transfer-partner page names: Strata Premier, Strata Elite, and Prestige. Points that sit only on a no-fee Citi card transfer at about 1,000 to 700 unless they are pooled with an annual-fee ThankYou card. Marriott Bonvoy transfers at 3:1, plus 5,000 KrisFlyer miles for every 60,000 Bonvoy points.
Bilt Rewards does not appear on the KrisFlyer transfer list. The Bilt partner page has no Singapore Airlines row. Miles for this sale come from the programs below.
| Program | Ratio into KrisFlyer | What covers a 30,800-mile seat | Transfer time in this site’s catalog |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amex Membership Rewards | 1:1 | 30,800 points | No KrisFlyer-specific time is listed. Allow up to a day or two |
| Chase Ultimate Rewards | 1:1, in steps of 1,000 | 31,000 points (31,000 miles, 200 left over) | Recent testing took about 48 hours, rather than posting instantly |
| Capital One miles | 1:1 | 30,800 miles | No KrisFlyer-specific time is listed. Allow up to a day or two |
| Citi ThankYou, Strata Premier, Strata Elite, or Prestige | 1:1 | 30,800 points | Confirm the posting note on the transfer screen |
| Citi ThankYou on a no-fee card, not pooled | about 1:0.7 | 44,000 points | 30,800 ÷ 0.7 = 44,000 |
| Marriott Bonvoy | 3:1, plus 5,000 per 60,000 | 78,000 Bonvoy points for 31,000 miles | Typically 2 days |
Chase’s 1,000-point step is on the Chase transfer-partner page: 1,000 points become 1,000 miles. 30,800 is not a multiple of 1,000, so the transfer that covers the Seattle award is 31,000 Chase points. Freedom and other Ultimate Rewards cards transfer once the points are pooled into an account that has a Sapphire or an Ink Preferred.
The Citi arithmetic is the same 44,000 as undiscounted Saver, for a different reason. A no-fee card’s 1,000-to-700 ratio means 44,000 ThankYou points become 30,800 miles. Pooling those points with a Strata Premier, Strata Elite, or Prestige restores 1:1, and the seat is 30,800 points again. The ratio on the card you hold is the one on the Citi transfer-partner page.
Marriott’s bonus chunk is 60,000 Bonvoy points to 25,000 miles (20,000 at 3:1, plus 5,000). That is 5,800 miles short of 30,800. Another 18,000 Bonvoy points is 6,000 miles at 3:1, with no second bonus, because the bonus is per 60,000. Together, 78,000 Bonvoy points become 31,000 miles. The catalog lists KrisFlyer as typically two days, and the minimum transfer is 3,000 points. Use Marriott to top off a balance. It is a poor way to buy the whole ticket. Confirm the increment on the transfer screen.
Amex and Capital One do not publish a KrisFlyer transfer time in this catalog. Plan on them being fast, and still allow a day or two. Chase is the one with a measured exception: the partner note says a recent test took about 48 hours. A transfer started on the evening of October 30 can miss a seat that has to be ticketed by 10:59 a.m. CT on October 31. See the Promo seat, then transfer, and leave the two days inside the booking window.
The booking cannot be refunded. Move miles only for a trip you will take on that date.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes in November 2026? A: It is 30% off Saver award rates on selected Singapore Airlines flights in economy, premium economy, and business. Tickets must be issued from October 15 through October 31, 2026, for travel November 1–30, 2026. Scoot has a separate 15% off Economy Saver list. Seats are first come, first served, and blackout dates apply by route and direction. The full flight list is on Singapore’s Spontaneous Escapes page.
Q: How many miles is Seattle, Los Angeles, or San Francisco to Singapore? A: 30,800 KrisFlyer miles one-way in economy, against a 44,000-mile Saver rate, when the Promo seat is available. Seattle to Singapore is SQ27, blocked on November 11, 14, and 20–21. Los Angeles to Singapore is SQ35 and SQ37. San Francisco to Singapore is SQ31, blocked from November 6 through November 22. The returns are also 30,800, on SQ28, SQ36 and SQ38, and SQ32, each with its own blackouts. Premium economy from Singapore to San Francisco is 55,300 miles on SQ34.
Q: When is the last moment to book, in US Central Time? A: Singapore’s terms end the sale at 23:59 “Local Time” on October 31, 2026. Read that as 11:59 p.m. Singapore time, which is 10:59 a.m. CT on Saturday, October 31. Central Daylight Time is still in effect that morning; the clocks change on Sunday, November 1. Book by Friday, October 30, so a transfer that takes a day or two still lands before the Promo window closes.
Q: Can I book a round trip if the return is in December? A: No. If any flight in the itinerary falls outside November 1–30, 2026, or is not an eligible flight, the entire itinerary loses the discount. Book the November flight as its own one-way, and book the December flight separately at the regular price.
Q: Can I change or cancel a Spontaneous Escapes ticket? A: No. Singapore’s terms say any change is not permitted, and cancellation is not permitted on a partly used or a completely unused ticket. There is no waitlist and no stopover, and the promo cannot be combined with another offer. Book a trip you will take.
Q: Can I book this with Aeroplan, United, or Bilt points? A: The discount is for KrisFlyer miles booked on singaporeair.com or in the SingaporeAir app. An Aeroplan or United award on the same airplane is a different price, and codeshares are excluded. Bilt Rewards is not a KrisFlyer transfer partner. Amex Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Capital One miles transfer 1:1. Citi ThankYou transfers 1:1 from Strata Premier, Strata Elite, and Prestige, and about 1,000 to 700 from a no-fee card that is not pooled with one of those.
The verdict
Search the flight number. If the Promo column shows 30,800 on Seattle, Los Angeles, or San Francisco, that is a one-way economy seat to or from Singapore in November, 13,200 miles under the 44,000 Saver rate. Frankfurt to New York in premium economy at 39,900 is the other headline, and SQ25 has no blackout on the official list. Jakarta and Surabaya at 15,400 are the business awards with no blackout dates.
See that Promo price on singaporeair.com before any points move. Chase transfers have taken about 48 hours in this site’s testing, Amex and Capital One should still be given a day or two, and the ticket cannot be refunded once it is issued. The safe US deadline is Friday, October 30. The terms’ own clock runs until 10:59 a.m. CT on Saturday, October 31.
Before the next dollar of spending, run it through the credit card rewards calculator.

_Checked October 19, 2026. Prices, flight numbers, blackout dates, and the booking rules are from Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes page: 30% off Saver in economy, premium economy, and business on the listed Singapore-operated flights; 15% off Scoot Economy Saver on Scoot’s own list; tickets issued October 15, 2026, 00:00, through October 31, 2026, 23:59, “Local Time,” for travel November 1–30, 2026; Promo column on singaporeair.com or the SingaporeAir app; one ineligible segment voids the itinerary; same-session ticketing; miles only; taxes and fees excluded from the discount; no changes; no cancellation or refund; no stopovers; no waitlist; no codeshares; not available by phone, at ticket offices, or through agents; cannot be combined with another promotion. The US Central conversion treats 23:59 Singapore time on October 31 as 10:59 a.m. CT. October 31, 2026 is a Saturday. Central Daylight Time (UTC−5) remains in effect until Sunday, November 1. 44,000 × 0.7 = 30,800. 29,000 × 0.7 = 20,300. 72,000 × 0.7 = 50,400. 27,500 × 0.7 = 19,250. 79,000 × 0.7 = 55,300. 42,500 × 0.7 = 29,750. 30,800 ÷ 0.7 = 44,000. Prince of Travel, October 16, 2026, is the source for the Saver comparisons it prints (Seattle 44,000, Frankfurt–New York economy 27,500, Singapore–San Francisco premium economy 79,000, Darwin 42,500), for calling business class regional, and for the 1:1 US bank list (Amex, Chase, Citi, Capital One) plus Marriott at 60,000 points to 25,000 miles. Mainly Miles, October 15, 2026, matches the published list and notes that Promo space can come and go and that a one-way Promo award cannot be combined with a Saver or Advantage award in the same booking. Transfer ratios and times are this site’s transfer-partner catalog: Chase to KrisFlyer 1:1 with a note that recent testing took about 48 hours; Chase transfers move in 1,000-point steps; Amex and Capital One to KrisFlyer 1:1 with no KrisFlyer-specific time listed; Citi 1:1 on Strata Premier, Strata Elite, and Prestige, and about 1,000 to 700 on no-fee cards unless pooled; Marriott to KrisFlyer 3:1, typically two days, plus 5,000 miles per 60,000 points. Bilt’s partner list does not include KrisFlyer. 60,000 Bonvoy points become 25,000 miles, and 18,000 more become 6,000 miles, so 78,000 Bonvoy points become 31,000 miles.
