JetBlue is selling TrueBlue points at 20% off through 11:59 p.m. ET on October 18, 2026. The price comes to about 2.58¢ per point. First-time buyers can take an extra 10% off, which brings the price to about 2.26¢.
TrueBlue is a fixed-value currency, so its value is easy to check. Points are worth about 1.35¢ each against the cash fare, The Points Guy’s October 2026 valuation. A sale price near 2.6¢ is roughly double that.
Before you buy points: Run your spending through the credit card rewards calculator. A buy-points sale does not fix a wallet that should be earning a transferable currency. Several transferable currencies, including Chase, Amex, Citi and Capital One, list JetBlue as a transfer partner.

Is it ever worth it?
Rarely. TrueBlue prices awards off the cash fare, so there is no sweet spot. Buying points only makes sense when you are a few hundred points short of a flight and a transfer is not an option. Even then, buy the exact shortfall at 3,000 points or more so you land in the 20% tier.
Our verdict
Skip it, unless you are a first-time buyer, short on a specific booking, and have no transferable points. Paying the cash fare is the better deal at 2.58¢ a point.
