Targeted Chase My Bonus: Up to 10x on Grocery, Gas, and Dining (Q4 2026)

Some Chase cards show 5x, 7x, 9x, or 10x bonus points on up to $1,000 at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants through December 31, 2026. Others show a flat bonus after thousands in spend. Check each card. There is no public offer.

Chase My Bonus Q4 2026 is targeted. Check every card at chase.com/mybonus, then activate before you spend. Reported offers run from 5x to 10x on $1,000 of grocery, gas, and dining, or a flat bonus after $3,000 to $9,000. The cap is a top-off, not a trip.
Targeted Chase My Bonus: Up to 10x on Grocery, Gas, and Dining (Q4 2026)

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Chase has loaded another round of My Bonus spending offers for the fourth quarter of 2026. The offers people are reporting run October 1 through December 31, 2026. The headline version is 5x, 7x, 9x, or 10x bonus points, miles, or cash back per $1 on up to $1,000 of combined spend at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants. Other accounts are seeing a flat bonus: points after $3,000, $6,000, or $9,000 of spend. A cash-back version in one roundup pays 5% in those categories, plus 2% more when you pay with Apple Pay, on the same $1,000 cap.

This is targeted. Chase picks the card. Two people with the same card can see different multipliers, or nothing. There is no public link that enrolls a card Chase did not select. The way to know is to enter each card number at chase.com/mybonus and read the screen. The screen wins over this article, and over every roundup it cites.

A 10x offer on $1,000 is 10,000 bonus points on the reading the roundups quote from the portal. At the valuations this site uses, that pile is worth about $60 to $205, depending on whether the points are IHG, United, Aeroplan, Hyatt, or Ultimate Rewards. It is a top-off toward a seat or a stay you can already book. It is a poor reason to buy anything.

Before you move a dollar: Run the grocery, gas, and dining you already have through the credit card rewards calculator. A targeted 10x on one Chase card does not change which card should earn the rest of the year.

What the Q4 reports agree on

Miles to Memories (updated September 30, 2026), Travel on Points (September 29), and TravelPointsPro (September 29) are describing the same quarterly drop. Doctor of Credit, the same day, documented one specific version: some Chase Aeroplan cardholders offered 10x on gas, grocery, and restaurants, up to $1,000, for October 1 through December 31, 2026. Your account can show a different line. If it does, use the account.

Detail What the Q4 2026 reports say
Window October 1 through December 31, 2026. No clock time is printed on the end date
Who Targeted, per card. Co-branded cards show up most often. Personal and business cards both get reported
Multiplier version 5x, 7x, 9x, or 10x bonus points (or miles, or cash back) per $1. Miles to Memories lists 5x, 7x, and 10x and does not mention 9x
Categories Grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants, combined
Cap $1,000 of spend across those categories together. 10x on the full cap is 10,000 bonus points
Flat versions 3,000 points after $3,000; 6,000 after $6,000; 5,000 after $9,000. Miles to Memories lists the $3,000 and $9,000 versions and does not list the $6,000 version
Cash-back version Miles to Memories also lists 5% at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants, plus 2% more with Apple Pay, on up to $1,000
Where it lives chase.com/mybonus, one card number at a time. Also email. Doctor of Credit’s Aeroplan report says that offer showed up by email and in the offers section, with no direct link
Activation Enroll before the purchase. TravelPointsPro says spend before enrollment does not count
Stacking Separate from the Freedom Flex quarterly categories and from Chase Offers. The same dollar can earn both only when both offers sit on that card

The word the portal line uses, as Travel on Points and TravelPointsPro quote it, is bonus points per $1. Miles to Memories and Travel on Points both say the quarterly offer sits on top of whatever that card already earns. Doctor of Credit’s Aeroplan headline is shorter: “earn 10x.” If your screen says 10x bonus points per $1, count 10,000 extra points on $1,000, and keep the card’s ordinary rate. If the screen says the category earns 10x total, the extra is 10x minus the rate the card already pays. Do not add those two readings together.

How to check, then activate

Set aside the cards, including the ones in a drawer. Travel on Points, Miles to Memories, and TravelPointsPro all say the same practical thing: there is no dashboard that lists every Chase card you hold. You type one card number into chase.com/mybonus, read what comes back, then do the next card. Check personal cards, business cards, and authorized-user cards. TravelPointsPro is the writeup that names authorized users. A card you never use is still a card Chase might have targeted.

Then:

  1. Read the terms on that card before you enroll. You want the multiplier or the flat bonus, the categories, the $1,000 cap or the spend threshold, and the December 31, 2026 end date, in the text Chase is showing you.
  2. Activate, then spend. TravelPointsPro says a purchase made before enrollment does not count. That is the opposite of the Freedom Flex quarterly bonus, which can count spending back to October 1 once you activate by December 14. Do not assume My Bonus works that way.
  3. If the page enrolls you and does not say what you enrolled in, send Chase a secure message and ask for the bonus, the categories, and the cap on that account. Miles to Memories and Travel on Points both describe that blank enrollment. Guessing is how a 3,000-point offer gets treated like a 10x offer.
  4. If the page errors or stalls, Miles to Memories says a different browser often gets through, and that checking a long list of cards can lock the session up. Try again later rather than assuming the card has no offer.
  5. Check again if the first pass is empty. Travel on Points says these offers have rolled out in waves in past quarters. A card that is blank on October 14 can show an offer later in the quarter. The spend still has to come after you activate, and it still has to post by December 31.

An email can be the first notice. It is not the only place the offer lives, and it is not proof that your other cards were skipped. Doctor of Credit’s Aeroplan report had no public link and an unknown subject line. Search the inbox, then still run the card numbers through the portal.

What 10,000 bonus points are worth

Use the currency the card earns, then use a booking. The Points Guy’s October 2026 valuations are the figures every MaxPoints tool uses. Cash back is face value. These are planning numbers, not a rate Chase pays in cash.

On the “bonus points per $1” reading, $1,000 at 10x is 10,000 points on top of the card’s ordinary earn. The table is only those 10,000 points.

Currency on the card Value this site uses 10,000 bonus points 5,000 bonus points (5x)
Ultimate Rewards, pooled with a Sapphire or Ink Business Preferred 2.05¢ $205 $102.50
World of Hyatt 1.65¢ $165 $82.50
Aeroplan 1.5¢ $150 $75
Southwest Rapid Rewards 1.25¢ $125 $62.50
United MileagePlus 1.2¢ $120 $60
Marriott Bonvoy 0.75¢ $75 $37.50
IHG One Rewards 0.6¢ $60 $30

A 7x offer is 7,000 points on $1,000: $143.50 of Ultimate Rewards, $115.50 of Hyatt, $105 of Aeroplan, $84 of United, $52.50 of Marriott, $42 of IHG. A 9x offer, which Travel on Points and TravelPointsPro list and Miles to Memories does not, is 9,000 points: $184.50, $148.50, $135, $108, $67.50, and $54 on that same list.

The cash-back line is smaller and simpler. Five percent of $1,000 is $50. The extra 2% with Apple Pay makes it $70. One Miles to Memories reader, on October 2, reported 4% back, up to $40, on a Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus. That is one account, not a published tier.

None of these buy the trip by themselves. On the Hyatt chart this site already uses, a Category 4 night at the Lowest price is 12,000 points. Ten thousand Hyatt points from a maxed-out 10x offer leave you 2,000 points short of that night, about $33 at 1.65¢. The Aeroplan partner chart in the Sapphire Reserve guide prices one-way business class from the US to Europe at 60,000 points under 4,000 miles. This offer is one-sixth of that seat. United prices dynamically. Read the award against the cash fare on the day you book. A $205 planning figure does not become a flight because the multiplier said 10x.

Freedom points are worth 2.05¢ in that table only when they can be pooled with a Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Reserve for Business, or Ink Business Preferred. On their own they are worth 1¢, so 10,000 of them are $100. Co-brand points stay in that program. A United card’s My Bonus posts as MileagePlus miles. It does not post as Ultimate Rewards.

The flat bonuses are a weaker offer

Travel on Points lists three spend-and-get versions alongside the multipliers. Miles to Memories lists two of them, and its author was targeted for the first on a World of Hyatt card.

Spend Bonus points Extra per dollar 3,000 / 6,000 / 5,000 at a few currencies
$3,000 3,000 1 point Hyatt $49.50, Aeroplan $45, United $36, IHG $18, Ultimate Rewards $61.50
$6,000 6,000 1 point Hyatt $99, Aeroplan $90, United $72, IHG $36, Ultimate Rewards $123
$9,000 5,000 about 0.56 point Hyatt $82.50, Aeroplan $75, United $60, IHG $30, Ultimate Rewards $102.50

Miles to Memories’ advice on these matches the math. The points-for-spend versions are worth activating when the spend was already going on that card. They are a weak reason to move spend onto the card, and they are a bad reason to manufacture it. One extra Hyatt point per dollar, for $3,000 you would not otherwise put on the card, is $49.50 of planning value against $3,000 of cash. The $9,000 version pays fewer points than the $6,000 version.

The case that still makes sense is a threshold you were going to cross anyway. This site’s card catalog, checked against Chase on October 5, 2026, records two of the ones Miles to Memories has in mind:

  • The World of Hyatt Card earns a Category 1–4 free night after $15,000 of spend in a calendar year, on top of the anniversary night. The catalog’s record of that certificate was verified October 11, 2026.
  • The no-annual-fee IHG One Rewards card awards Gold Elite and 10,000 points after $15,000 in a calendar year. Those 10,000 IHG points are $60 at 0.6¢. The status is the part the points table does not price.

A 3,000-point My Bonus on the way to a certificate you were earning anyway is a small extra. Spending $9,000 you do not need to spend, so that a flat offer posts, is the manufacture this offer does not support. Miles to Memories’ author took the 3,000-point Hyatt offer for that reason and said it was not a reason to go find spend.

Who should use it

You already buy groceries, gas, or restaurant meals, and the portal shows 7x, 9x, or 10x on a currency you will redeem. Put the next $1,000 of the category where that offer wins onto that card. Stop at the cap. The combined cap means $400 of gas plus $600 of groceries fills it. You do not get $1,000 in each category.

The offer is on a card that is already walking toward a spend award. The Hyatt $15,000 free night and the IHG $15,000 Gold bonus are the clean examples in this site’s catalog. Activate the flat offer. Keep spending the way you were. The certificate is the prize. The 3,000 points are the extra.

You hold a Freedom Flex, and the My Bonus landed on gas. Freedom Flex’s fourth-quarter categories are dining, grocery stores, and the American Red Cross. Gas is not on that list. The Freedom Flex Q4 article has the calendar: 7% at restaurants and 5% at grocery stores, on up to $1,500 combined, if you activate by December 14, 2026. A gas My Bonus has no Flex competitor this quarter. Even 5x United miles on $1,000 of gas is $60, against about $20.50 if that same $1,000 sits on a pooled Freedom card at 1x, or $10 if those Freedom points stay unpooled.

Who should skip it

The portal shows nothing on that card. You are not in this round for that account. Checking again later is reasonable. Inventing a way to opt in is not. Chase is not publishing a link the rest of us can open.

The only offer is a flat bonus, and you would not have spent $3,000, $6,000, or $9,000 on that card. Activate it only if the spending is real. Do not buy gift cards, prepay bills you would not prepay, or cycle money through the card to finish a threshold. The best flat offer in the reports is one extra point per dollar.

A better card already earns more on that dollar. One purchase has one card. Freedom Flex dining this quarter is 7 points per dollar, which is $143.50 per $1,000 once the points pool with a Sapphire, or $70 at the 1¢ cash value. Freedom Flex groceries are 5 points per dollar: $102.50 pooled, $50 in cash. Compare that with the My Bonus column before you move the spend:

$1,000 of spend Freedom Flex, Q4, pooled at 2.05¢ A 10x My Bonus that beats it A 10x My Bonus that loses to it
Dining $143.50 (7x) Hyatt $165, Aeroplan $150 United $120, Marriott $75, IHG $60
Groceries $102.50 (5x) Hyatt $165, Aeroplan $150, Southwest $125, United $120 Marriott $75 if you pool Flex; IHG $60
Gas $20.50 (1x, no quarterly bonus) Any 5x or 10x in the table above A card with no offer

Marriott at $75 beats a cash-value Flex grocery rate ($50) and loses to a pooled one ($102.50). If your Freedom points cannot transfer, use the $70 and $50 cash figures instead of $143.50 and $102.50. The calculator is the right place to settle a wallet that has both cards, because the cap, the rest of the year, and the annual fees are all in that run.

You would spend money you were not going to spend. The largest figure in the multiplier table is $205 of Ultimate Rewards planning value, and only if a UR-earning card actually shows 10x bonus points. Buying $1,000 of goods so the bonus posts leaves you holding the goods. The points do not repay them.

Freedom Flex, Chase Offers, and the same purchase

My Bonus, the Freedom quarterly categories, and Chase Offers are three programs. Miles to Memories says the quarterly My Bonus offers are different from the rotating Freedom categories. Travel on Points says that once you enroll, you earn the My Bonus on top of that card’s ordinary earn. TravelPointsPro says the programs stack, and it describes Chase Shop and Earn as paying on the order of 1 to 15 bonus points per $1 at participating stores.

Stacking has a constraint the roundups can blur. One charge goes on one card. A 10x My Bonus on an Aeroplan card and a 7x Freedom Flex dining rate do not combine on the same dinner. You pick the card. Use the table above, fill the $1,000 My Bonus cap where it wins, and leave the Flex’s $1,500 quarterly cap for the dining and grocery the My Bonus did not take. Gas, this quarter, is the category to put on the My Bonus card whenever that card shows any multiplier at all.

The case where both rates can hit one purchase is the case where both offers are on that card. If the Freedom Flex itself shows a My Bonus multiplier, read whether the screen says “bonus” on top of the quarterly rate. Reports describe My Bonus as extra. The screen is the term. Chase Offers and Shop and Earn are merchant offers on a card. When that card has one, it can apply to the same purchase. It does not raise the $1,000 cap, and it is not a reason to shop at a store you were not going to use.

Freedom activation and My Bonus activation are different clocks. The Flex quarterly bonus, as the Q4 article lays out, counts purchases since October 1 once you activate by December 14. My Bonus, as TravelPointsPro describes it, counts purchases after you enroll. Activate the My Bonus card first, then buy.

Grocery coding is its own trap on both programs. The Flex article excludes Walmart, Target, and wholesale clubs from the grocery category. TravelPointsPro says My Bonus uses merchant category codes the same way: warehouse clubs, and superstores such as Walmart and Target, usually do not code as grocery, and a gas pump at a warehouse club often codes as the club. A supermarket does. If the offer terms on your screen list exclusions, those are the ones that count.

After the points post

Co-brand points are already in that program. A United My Bonus becomes MileagePlus miles. A Hyatt My Bonus becomes Hyatt points. A transfer bonus from a bank does not multiply miles that were earned on the co-brand card. Book the seat or the stay when you can see it. A 10x quarter is a way to top off a balance you are about to use. It is a weak reason to open a co-brand card you did not want.

If the offer landed on a card that earns Ultimate Rewards, the points stay flexible until you move them. Partner transfers from Chase need a Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Reserve for Business, or Ink Business Preferred. The list is the Chase transfer-partner page. Move them when a specific award is on the screen and the cash you save beats holding the points. A live transfer bonus is a reason to look at that award. It is not a reason to drain the account into a program you do not have a booking in.

See what is live on transfer bonuses. That page is bank-to-partner promotions. This My Bonus quarter is a spending offer, so it is not one of those rows.

Doctor of Credit’s Aeroplan 10x is a spending offer on the Aeroplan card. It is a different thing from the Aeroplan card’s 10% bonus on Ultimate Rewards transfers, which is a cardholder benefit through December 31, 2026, with its own 50,000-point minimum and 25,000-point cap. That benefit is covered in the Chase Aeroplan 10% transfer article. Earning 10x on $1,000 of groceries does not enroll you in the transfer bonus, and transferring Ultimate Rewards does not use this $1,000 cap.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the Chase My Bonus Q4 2026 offer public? A: No. Miles to Memories, Travel on Points, TravelPointsPro, and Doctor of Credit all describe a targeted offer. You find it by entering each card number at chase.com/mybonus, or in an email Chase sent about that card. A card with nothing on the screen is not enrolled, and there is no public page that adds it.

Q: How do I check every Chase card? A: Open chase.com/mybonus and enter one card number at a time, including business cards and cards you rarely use. TravelPointsPro says to include authorized-user cards. There is no single list of every offer on the login. If the page errors, Miles to Memories says to try another browser. If you enroll and the page never states the bonus, secure-message Chase and ask for the terms on that account.

Q: Do I have to activate before I spend? A: Yes, on the reading TravelPointsPro gives. Purchases made before you enroll do not count, and the offer window is October 1 through December 31, 2026. That differs from Freedom Flex’s Q4 categories, which can count spending back to October 1 if you activate by December 14. Activate My Bonus first, then buy.

Q: What counts, and what is the cap? A: The roundups agree on grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants, combined, up to $1,000 for the multiplier versions. You do not get $1,000 in each category. TravelPointsPro says warehouse clubs and superstores such as Walmart and Target usually fail the grocery code, and a gas station at a club often codes as the club. The offer text on your card is the list that applies to you.

Q: Does this stack with Freedom Flex’s 7x dining? A: Only when both offers are on the Freedom Flex and the My Bonus screen says the bonus is on top of the card’s earn. A My Bonus on a co-brand card and the Flex quarterly rate are two cards. Pick the one that is worth more per dollar. Gas is not a Flex category this quarter, so a gas My Bonus is the easy card to use. The Freedom Flex Q4 article has the 7% dining and 5% grocery details.

Q: What is a 10x offer on $1,000 worth? A: About $205 if the 10,000 bonus points are Ultimate Rewards pooled with a Sapphire or Ink Business Preferred, $165 if they are Hyatt, $150 if they are Aeroplan, $125 if they are Southwest, $120 if they are United, $75 if they are Marriott, and $60 if they are IHG. Those are The Points Guy’s October 2026 valuations, the figures this site uses. They are planning values. Ten thousand Hyatt points are still 2,000 short of one Category 4 Lowest night.

Q: I only see a flat bonus. Should I change my spending? A: Activate it if you were going to spend on that card anyway, including spend toward a Hyatt or IHG threshold you were already going to hit. Do not manufacture $3,000, $6,000, or $9,000 for 3,000, 6,000, or 5,000 points. That is one extra point per dollar on the first two, and about half a point per dollar on the third.

Q: I have the Chase Aeroplan card. Is this the 10% transfer bonus? A: No. Doctor of Credit’s report is a targeted 10x spending offer on gas, grocery, and restaurants, up to $1,000, from October 1 through December 31, 2026. The 10% figure on Ultimate Rewards transfers is a separate cardholder benefit, with a 50,000-point minimum and a 25,000-point yearly cap, covered in the Aeroplan transfer article. Confirm which one, if either, is on your account.

Q: Should I transfer the points while a bonus is live? A: Transfer Ultimate Rewards when you can already book the seat or the stay, and the cash you save beats keeping the points. A live bonus is a reason to price that award. Co-brand My Bonus points are already MileagePlus, Hyatt, Aeroplan, or whichever program the card earns. A bank transfer bonus does not multiply them. The transfer bonuses page lists the bank promotions. This spending offer is not one of them.

The decision

Check every Chase card at chase.com/mybonus. Activate the offer the screen actually states, before you spend. Put up to $1,000 of ordinary grocery, gas, and restaurant spend on a 7x, 9x, or 10x offer when that currency beats the card you would have used, and put gas there whenever the Flex is your alternative this quarter. Keep a flat bonus only on spend that card was going to see anyway, including a Hyatt or IHG threshold you were already crossing.

Leave it alone when the card shows nothing, when the flat bonus would require spending you were not going to do, and when Freedom Flex dining or groceries are worth more per dollar than the co-brand multiplier on that same purchase. The cap is $1,000. The planning value of a full 10x is about $60 to $205. Spend the money you were going to spend. Then price the award you can actually book.

Run the rest of the wallet through the credit card rewards calculator before you rearrange a quarter around one targeted offer.

Sources, checked October 14, 2026.

  • The quarterly drop. Miles to Memories, updated September 30, 2026: Q4 offers were already out; reported versions include 5x, 7x, and 10x on up to $1,000 combined at gas, dining, and grocery, including cash back; 3,000 points after $3,000; 5,000 points after $9,000; and 5% at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants plus 2% more with Apple Pay, on up to $1,000. All of those promos are dated October 1 through December 31, 2026. The offers are in addition to the card’s normal earning and are different from Freedom rotating categories. They are more common on co-branded cards that do not earn Ultimate Rewards, and the writer says to check every card. The writer’s own account had 3,000 points after $3,000 on a World of Hyatt card, which he treated as extra points on the way to a $15,000 free-night certificate rather than spend worth chasing. A different browser is the suggested fix when the lookup errors, and a long list of cards can stall the session. If you enroll and cannot see the terms, the writer says to secure-message Chase.
  • The same quarter, with 9x and the $6,000 tier. Travel on Points, September 29, 2026: fourth-quarter offers going out by email; check each card number on the Chase My Bonus site, because an email is not the only way in; enroll, then earn October 1 through December 31, 2026, on top of the card’s ordinary earn. The listed offers are 5x, 7x, 9x, or 10x bonus points (or miles or cash back) per $1 on up to $1,000 at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants; 3,000 points after $3,000; 6,000 after $6,000; and 5,000 after $9,000. The writer says the offers show up most often on United, Aeroplan, IHG, Marriott (including Ritz-Carlton), Hyatt, Disney, and Prime Visa cards, and that other cards can have them too. Past quarters have rolled out in waves, so a later check can be worth it. A blank enrollment is a reason to secure-message Chase. The writer also says a card that had an offer last quarter often does not get one this quarter, and that this is not a rule.
  • The portal, activation, and the cash math. TravelPointsPro, September 29, 2026: offers run October 1 through December 31, 2026; check each card number at chase.com/mybonus, including business and authorized-user cards; activate before spending, because earlier purchases do not count. Reported multipliers are 5x, 7x, 9x, and 10x per $1, capped at $1,000, at grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants. Flat versions are 3,000 points after $3,000, 6,000 after $6,000, and 5,000 after $9,000. The writer quotes the portal wording as 5x, 7x, 9x, or 10x bonus points (or miles or cash back) per $1, then says a 10x offer pays 10,000 bonus points on $1,000 and, in a later sentence, that a card already earning 1x means the incremental haul is about 9,000 points. This article uses the “bonus points per $1” sentence, which is 10,000 extra points, and tells you to follow the screen if it defines 10x as a total rate. The same piece says My Bonus is separate from Chase Offers and from Freedom Flex rotating categories, describes Shop and Earn as about 1 to 15 bonus points per $1 at 1,000 or more stores, and says warehouse clubs and superstores such as Walmart and Target usually do not code as grocery. The 1.5¢ figure in that piece is not the valuation this site uses.
  • The Aeroplan example. Doctor of Credit, September 29, 2026: some Aeroplan cardholders offered 10x on gas, grocery, and restaurants from October 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, on up to $1,000. No direct link. Sent by email, subject line unknown, and also visible in the offers section. The writer’s verdict is that it is a nice deal if you are targeted, and that the spend limit is the disappointment.
  • One reader’s cash-back report. On the Miles to Memories page, a commenter on October 2, 2026, reported one offer out of 14 cards: 4% back, up to $40, on $1,000 of category spend, on a Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus near renewal. That is a single report.
