Marriott Bonvoy Transfer Partners (2026)

Marriott Bonvoy transfers to about 37 airlines, mostly at 3:1, plus 5,000 bonus miles for every 60,000 points. That makes 60,000 Bonvoy points worth 25,000 miles at most partners and 30,000 at United. American, Delta and Avianca LifeMiles skip the bonus. Bonvoy has no airline-style sweet spot for most people, but a Chase or Amex bonus into Marriott or an airline bonus out of it can change the math. Lists below are as of October 2026.

Marriott Bonvoy transfer partners: 37 airline and 0 hotel partners

Marriott Bonvoy points transfer to about 37 airlines, almost all at 3:1 with a 5,000-mile bonus for every 60,000 points, so 60,000 Bonvoy points become 25,000 miles. United gives a 10,000-mile bonus (30,000 miles). American, Delta and Avianca LifeMiles get no bonus. The minimum is 3,000 points. Bonvoy points are worth about 0.7¢ each, so this is usually a poor use unless a bonus is running or you are topping off an award. Points can be moved into Marriott from Chase and Amex, but not back out of Marriott to a bank.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Marriott Bonvoy transfer ratio?
3 Bonvoy points to 1 airline mile at nearly every partner, with a 5,000-mile bonus for every 60,000 points. So 60,000 points become 25,000 miles. United adds 10,000 miles per 60,000 points instead (30,000 miles). American, Delta and Avianca LifeMiles have no bonus, so 60,000 points become 20,000 miles.
What is the minimum Marriott transfer?
3,000 Bonvoy points. Only full 60,000-point blocks earn the bonus, so transfer in multiples of 60,000 when you can.
Does Marriott transfer to United?
Yes. United MileagePlus gets the best deal: 60,000 Bonvoy points become 30,000 miles. Chase and Bilt also transfer to United at 1:1, which is almost always cheaper.
Is it worth transferring Marriott points to airlines?
Usually not. Bonvoy points are worth about 0.7¢ each, and 60,000 points make 25,000 miles, which is a poor rate against 1:1 bank points. It works when you have leftover points, when you are a few thousand miles short of an award, or when Aeroplan or another airline runs a bonus on Bonvoy conversions.
Can I transfer other points to Marriott?
Yes. Chase and Amex transfer to Bonvoy at 1:1, and bonuses of 30% or more show up now and then. The live board above shows any active bonus. Points cannot go back from Marriott to a bank program.
How long do Marriott transfers take?
Travelers report anywhere from 1 to 8 days, depending on the airline, though some arrive the same day. Do not transfer until you have found the award seat.
