Turkish Airlines is selling Miles&Smiles miles with a bonus of up to 100%, from September 29 through October 15, 2026. The best price reported is about 1.5¢ per mile.

The 100% headline needs the largest purchases. Upgraded Points lists the top tier at very large amounts, so the bonus on a small purchase will be lower, and the effective price higher. Read the tier table in your account before you buy.

Before you buy points: Run your spending through the credit card rewards calculator. A buy-points sale does not fix a wallet that should be earning a transferable currency. Citi ThankYou, Capital One miles and Bilt points transfer to Turkish, so a transfer is usually the cheaper route into the same program.

Why people buy Turkish miles

Miles&Smiles is a Star Alliance program with a distance-based chart that prices some business-class awards well below other programs. That is the real reason to hold Turkish miles. The sale only helps if you have an award in mind and a transfer is not available.

Our verdict

Overpriced. The Points Guy’s October 2026 valuation for a Miles&Smiles mile is 1.1¢, so even the top-tier price of about 1.5¢ costs about 36% more than a mile typically returns, and smaller purchases cost more still. 50,000 miles at 1.5¢ is about $750 for miles worth about $550 on a typical redemption.

The exception is a specific business-class award you have already found, where the distance-based chart can get you well above 1.5¢ per mile. Even then, Citi, Capital One and Bilt transfer to Turkish, so a transfer is the cheaper route if you hold those points. Skip the sale otherwise.

Offers can end early or change. Confirm the bonus, the price, the cap and the tax on your own account before you pay. Checked October 7, 2026. The full list of live sales is on the point sales page, and card transfer bonuses are on the transfer bonuses page.
