Lufthansa Miles & More is selling miles with a 50% bonus through October 31, 2026. You cannot buy miles one at a time. They come as Bundle&Go packages, and the October versions now include lounge vouchers, with the Large and XL bundles also adding Status Points.
The price reported by one tracker is about 1.38¢ per mile. Because a bundle includes extras, the cost per mile on your receipt will depend on which one you pick and how much you would actually use the vouchers and status points.
Before you buy points: Run your spending through the credit card rewards calculator. A buy-points sale does not fix a wallet that should be earning a transferable currency. Miles & More is also a Star Alliance program, so it can book United and other partners, and Lufthansa group awards often carry high taxes and fuel surcharges.
What to check
- Eligibility: earlier Miles & More 50% offers were limited to first-time buyers. One October source repeats that, so confirm that the bonus shows on your account before you pay.
- Bundle price per mile: divide the bundle price by the miles you receive after the bonus, then subtract what you would pay for the vouchers you will use.
- Status points: useful only if you are near a status tier with Lufthansa.
- Taxes: Lufthansa awards carry significant surcharges, so factor them into the cost of the trip.
Our verdict
Above value. The Points Guy’s October 2026 valuations don’t include Lufthansa Miles & More, so we count its miles at 1¢, the cash-value fallback every MaxPoints tool uses for programs TPG doesn’t value. At about 1.38¢, the sale costs roughly 38% more than that. 50,000 miles at 1.38¢ is about $690 for miles we value at $500, before the surcharges Lufthansa awards add.
It can still make sense if you would pay for the lounge vouchers or need the status points anyway, because those come out of the bundle price. Otherwise, pass.
